UV cured Filler and other coatings are high solids products designed to cure very quickly under ultra-violet light (UV). Our products are used extensively in the fretted musical instrument industry (guitars). The UV cured filler is applied by hand on open pore wood species, such as mahogany and rosewood. Once cured, there is virtually no shrinkage of subsequent topcoats, whether they are UV cured, or air dried. Work-in-process(WIP) is greatly shortened using UV cured products. R-1778 sealer /topcoat contains some solvent. Allow 20-30 minutes air flash before curing under UV lamps. Sanding is required after curing of all products to insure good adhesion.

AL-130 is recommended as a satin topcoat, and should be sprayed over R-1778, as a final coat.
